to tri or not to tri aka weeks eight & nine
Since I have been hitting a wall with weight loss I decided to do two things. One - keep a food journal. This has really helped me keep track of the things I eat and has also helped me to be a more responcible eater. Also, I decided to up my fitness routine by training for a triathalon!!!The triathalon is July 4th and I am completly scared and excited about it! I started a 12week training program this week and I am so sore! That's a good sign right?! I haven't done my swimming yet but that will happen tomorrow and we will see how that goes. So anyway on to the stats...
Weight: 171!!! Down 4lbs!
Food Plan: Except for my birthday wknd no cheating!
Exercise: Last Mon & Tues ran 2miles, Last Friday ran 3! Tues - ran 2 miles, Wed biked 10 miles, Thursday did my first brick workout which invoved runing.walking for 10 mins and biking for 30mins.

I had a birthday!
This last sunday I turned 31! I truly enjoy aging! I have always enjoyed watching people grow and mature (which I connect with aging even though the two are not always connected). For my b-day Aqeel sent me to a day spa for a mani, pedi, and 1 hour swedish massage! I t was soo relaxing, but I must say it didn't take long for life to unravel my relaxed body. Some of the things I learned this year were...
1. how to plant flowers in my own flower bed!!!
2. how to get pregnant when you don't want too! (I may have had some prior experience with this procces, but not when I didn't want too)
3. how to move accross country with three children, three adults, a mini van, and a u-haul while in my first trimester of being prego!
4. why you shouldn't move back in with your parents after being married, especially with kids, EVER!!!!
5. how to break your arm on a four wheeler
6. how much having four children affects the intimate realationship with your husband :(
7. Why I wanted to move away from La Grande when I was younger.
8. how much I really didn't know my siblings
9. how much I really enjoy my siblings as adults
10. what wonderful fathers/husband my brothers are

little boys are so much fun!
Today Jr and I were wrestling on the ground and I was tickling him. I stopped for a moment to catch my breath and he said, "do it again it's so much fun!"

Week Seven
Weight: still 175 lbs
Exercise: Mon, Wed, & Friday - ran 2 miles each day
Food plan - No cheating(that's because I'm not counting the Easter basket as it was a holiday)!

Week Six
Weight: 175 Lbs stayed the same
Exercise: Monday - ran 1.5 miles, Wed - ran 2 miles, Thur - weight training - upper body and core, Fri - ran 2 miles.
Food Plan - I ammended my food plan because I just can't seem to give up deserts. So, now I will allow myself deserts, but only if I make them from scratch (which I don't like to do often). So, because of my amendment I haven't diverted from the food plan!
